Warranty Policy

Every part you buy from Capital Auto Salvage is covered by our standard 90-day replacement warranty. Extended warranty options are available on engines and transmissions.

What is covered

Defects in the part that prevent it from performing its intended function.

Internal failures within the warranty window.

Mileage and fitment misrepresentation by us.

What is not covered

Damage caused by improper installation or misuse.

Modifications, repainting, or refinishing performed by the buyer.

Consequential damages (towing, labor, lost wages).

Wear-and-tear consumables (belts, gaskets, fluids) shipped with the part.

Extended warranties

Available on engines and transmissions:

6-month extended warranty: small surcharge added to your quote.

12-month extended warranty: available on select units. Ask your rep.

How to claim

Email support@capitalautosalvage.sbs with your order number, vehicle VIN, install date, and a description plus photos of the issue. We will issue an RMA and ship a replacement or refund per our Returns and Refunds policy.
